Rocky Creek Veterinary Hospital has an in-house laboratory and a suite of cutting-edge diagnostic devices that our veterinarians utilize to interpret your pet’s symptoms.
We also use our laboratory tests to monitor medical therapies such as anti-seizure or arthritis medications that are taken by pets. We are equipped to perform heartworm testing, complete blood counts, blood-chemistry panels, urinalysis and fecal examinations, and blood tests on your pet for electrolyte evaluation, blood count analysis, liver and kidney function. Our in-house facility allows us to deliver the results of many of these tests in less than 30 minutes.
We also utilize digital radiographs (x-rays) for diagnosis and monitoring of a variety of conditions.
We recently added Ultrasound to our list of diagnostic services! This will allow us to see internally into your pet’s abdomen and chest to help us diagnose and monitor certain conditions (including: kidney failure, internal mass detection, heart disease, non-invasive internal organ biopsies, etc.)
